Working in the development department of the largest financial institution in Denmark has many facets. The strongest aspect is the social part and the informal atmosphere.

Before joining the bank I had the default set of prejudices against the financial sector:

• Conservative work place
• Every one is old
• Ancient development environment
• Slow mover

Instead of just babling on, I will comment on each bullet elaborating the prejudice and give my current toughts after 4 years in company.

Just to make clear, I am not doing any speaking on behalf of my company nor the department which I am assigned to. I will not reveal any company secrets or write about stuff that isn’t publicly available elsewhere.
