Working with mainframes every one is bound to be old, right? Well yes and no. During the life time of the IT department there has been quite a lot of expansion.

The official figures are currently 2.000 in the development department - and I’m pretty sure this has increased dramatically since 1980s.

In my department the majority of developers are around the age of 30 (give and take 5 years). Management is a bit older.
